 Consignment Policies
- What is accepted?
- Condition of Merchandise
- Merchandise should be clean, free of stains, and in good working condition
- As the technology changes so fast, ski and snowboard equipment should be no older than five years
- Time under consignment
- Items will remain on consignment for 30 days (Item may be kept on consignment if both Front Street Exchange and the consignor agree to do so)
- Consignor will be notified when consignment period is completed and should pick up item at that time. If not picked up in a reasonable period of time after notification, item shall become property of Front Street Exchange and disposed of or given to charity.
- Front Street Exchange is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen.
- Consignor is responsible for any personal property taxes owed on items.
- Pricing
- Consignor's suggested selling price (and minimum price) may be used if desired
- Alternatively, Front Street Exchange will be glad to set prices for items
- Item may be discounted at the discretion of Front Street Exchange, so please keep that in mind when setting prices
- Consignment Fee
- 50% to consignor; 50% to Front Street Exchange
- If payment is in form of store credit
- 60% to consignor; 40% to Front Street Exchange
